Jacobo Hernández Enríquez (he/him) is a violinist and multidisciplinary artist specializing in contemporary music and performance. He lives in Vienna, and his regular collaborations with ensembles in Europe—such as Klangforum
Wien, Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Recherche, PHACE, Studio Dan, Black Page Orchestra, Ensemble Linea, der/gelbe/klang, NAMES, Vertixe Sonora, and many others—makes him one of the most ubiquitous and versatile performers on the new
music scene. Since 2022, he has been a member of the oenm (Austrian ensemble for new music) in Salzburg, where he also promotes collaboration with young composers such as Kristine Tjøgersen, Krõõt-Kärt Kaev, and Farzia Fallah. In addition to his work as an ensemble musician, Jacobo develops his own shows as a soloist, combining new repertoire with various disciplines and interests such as literature, theater, visual arts, and fashion.
