œnm . œsterreichisches ensemble fuer neue musik

yes! weekend

Three days – three concerts with œnm and guests from 19 to 21 May 2022

Over the course of three days, the œnm hosts three concerts. Contemporary music is, of course, at the center of the events, but there is more, especially the connection to other arts and artists: videos by Sina Moser and Markus Sepperer are integrated into musical performances, the silent film “Aelita – the Journey to Mars” – made in 1924 in the Soviet Union – is accompanied by the music of Dmitri Kourliandski. Musicians from the œnm will comment on texts by Friederike Mayröcker in a cooperative event with the organizer ohne titel, also based in the Künstlerhaus. New and old music meet when members of the œnm and the Ensemble Musica Antiqua Salzburg perform together. Georg Vogel and his trio explore the border areas between new music and jazz. Modern classics will be heard as well as contemporary music and world premieres.
The individual events will each last about an hour – sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. During the breaks and afterwards there will be an opportunity for exchange. Gastronomic support will of course be provided.
