Dušan Kranjc

Dušan Kranjc, born in Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia), completed his artistic training in Ljubljana, where he also played in the orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic as solo trombonist. He enjoyed his soloist training with Prof. Branimir Slokar in Trossingen.
His orchestral activities led him to the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. He also plays with the Camerata Salzburg, the œnm . œsterreichisches ensemble fuer neue musik and MAS – Musica Antiqua Salzburg, with whom he has performed at numerous concerts at the Salzburg Festival, the Festival für neue Musik Bozen, Kammermusik Festival Allegro Vivo, Internationale Musikwochen Millstatt, Festival Sandstein & Musik Dresden, Bluval Straubing, Haydn Festspiele Eisenstadt, Jeunesse Musicales, ZeitgeNÖssischer Herbst, Musica Sacra Trento, Festival Ljubljana, Festival Lent Maribor or the Groedener Musikwochen. Dušan Kranjc has also performed in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Spain, France, England, Poland, Germany, Holland, Greece, Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, USA, Russia, Baltic States, Israel and Lebanon.
Dušan Kranjc is also an enthusiastic teacher in the Upper Austria Music School Association and a full professor at the University of Music in Ljubljana.
